IF YOU HAVE TRIED TO VIEW MY BLOG TODAY, WHO KNOWS WHAT YOU FOUND! I TRIED TO CHANGE MY BACKGROUND, BUT I GUESS BLOGGER ONLY LETS YOU USE THE ONES THEY HAVE AVAILABLE!
THE WORST PART IS, I LOST MY LAYOUT, MY BLOGLIST, AND I'M NOT SURE HOW TO FIX IT! I DID SAVE IT, LIKE THEY RECOMMENDED, BUT HOW DO I GET IT BACK? ANY IDEAS? I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO ADD THE BLOGS I READ BACK TO MY PAGE! HELP!?

Don't know if I can help you on this one. My directions come up in Spanish. When I redid mine I had to fiddle around on the site til I found the right things (and finally got English headings to appear) . I know Lyndie or dee could give you the right info though!

Okay, I just checked out my blog. Discovered that if I post on someone else's blog, then when i go back to mine the heading are in English! Anyway, on the very top right of your blog page there should be headings "new post" "Customize" etc. Click on "customize" and your blog should come up ready to be worked on. Hope this helps some...
AHH! I GIVE MYSELF A HEADACHE! CLEYO REMINDED ME LAST NIGHT, THAT THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE BLOG, BUT THAT I AM NEVER SATISFIED WITH ANYTHING, AND THAT I ALWAYS HAVE TO MESS WITH, AND SWITCH THINGS AROUND.IN OUR OLD HOUSE, I MOVED FURNITURE, PROBABLY, ONCE A MONTH. IN THIS HOUSE, I CAN'T DO THAT, BECAUSE THERE IS NOT MANY WAYS DO THAT.
ANYWAY, I HAVE TRIED MANY THINGS!THERE IS NOTHING ON MY SCREEN THAT WILL LET ME GET TO THE PAGE ELEMENTS, ON LAYOUT, AND THEREFORE I CAN NOT ADD MY GADGETS.
That's weird! On mine once I sign in, the top of the page has a heading "Customize". When i click on that it shows my page layout and then I can make changes. Don't understand why yours doesn't.
I know this sounds crazy, but try posting on someone else's blog (where you have to sign in) then go back to your page and see if the headings are there on the top right. It's what I have to do.
By the way, I understand about rearranging furniture. Our apartment is small. Living room, dining room and kitchen are one room. But I have found several ways to arrange the furniture and the rooms. Dining room table gets put everywhere but under the hanging light where it's "supposed" to go. That just seems so mundane and predictable to me. :) It has even gone in the living room end--with one side pushed up to the wall right under the window.
Janal, you make me laugh!!! Your blog definitely fits your personality. :) I am really bad about talking/helping anyone through something if I can't be right there to look at the problem with them, so I'm afraid I'm not going to be much help, except to suggest going to your dashboard and choosing the "edit layout" option (?) and going from there.
I no longer have a layout option.
So, my wonderful SIL,Amanda gave me great advice. I am going to copy, and paste all of my posted blogs, and put them on Sheldon's "big bro", he still has layout options. Warning : DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR TEMPLATES!
Okay! I don't believe this was all my fault! I think blogger.com was having problems. I just happen to mess with my page, while they were trying to upgrade their system. Well, hopefully, my page will continue to work. The internet is both a Blessing & a Curse!!!!
While it's frustrating to you, I do like the variety of ways your page is coming up. Quite the variety of 'looks' keep appearing. I think I've viewed 5 different ones in three days! :)

Yesterday, my background was dark maroon, but it was too much on my eyes! I wish I had more options, but I am going to get happy about it soon, and LEAVE IT ALONE! :}
