I would like to use a new game we have, to have some interesting conversation and perspective. :}

Would you rather;
1. Hear strange voices, or
2. hear only silence?
Why?

In the context of the game I am going to assume that this means perpetually. If that is the case, I pick silence. Even though being alone with my own thoughts most of the time is scary, at least I could concentrate to read. Perpetual voices would be somewhat distracting (but then we deal with that everyday!)
