Socks ! Socks ! and more Socks !
I hate matching socks ! Especially for 10 people ! This pile is three weeks old, and yes, we have to dig to find a pair. Because of my hate of them , I usually put it off, and then we have this overwhelming mess! And one other thing I hate about socks, they always get huge holes in them and they cost way too much!

Lol! I have basket full of socks and we have to dig through it to find a pair most of the time! Love the pictures.
Um, Janal, I don't know if anyone has told you this or not, but a child as young as 4 or 5 is perfectly capable of matching socks. So that means in your house, you've got (HOW MANY?) potential sock-matchers???!!!!
Use the resources God's given you! Put them to work!!
i heartily "AMEN" kati's comment!
Kati ~ I totally agree! LOL !
I have in the past, but then I always end up with several that do not match, and are put in the wrong person's pile. And yes , I know your next comment, just let it go. I am working on it. :}
Oh, you think you can read my mind, ey?
But yes, you're right--GET OVER IT! Mis-matched socks never killed anyone!! :)
Kati~ LOL!
Honestly, I love laundry day! I do. I do not have that many feet to take care of, but I love that day. It is the one day a week, yes I let mine pile up too, but it is my one day a week where I have an excuse to sit in front of the TV. I love laundry day... Love that picture as well. :o)
Jenny~ I just couldn't resist posting the pics, The pile itself overwhelmes me, as a matter fact, it is still laying on my bed, and in a couple of hours, I will probably move it back to the basket it came from! LOL !! :}
My mom used to pay us a penny for each pair we put together!! Can you say child labor? :) I think with inflation the cost would be a little more now.

Oh man - I got ripped off! We didn't get anything for matching socks and had to pay a quarter to get them back if we left any laying around. :} You can see how it's damaged me, even as an adult . . .
Not that I have perfected everything but hopefully this helps someone in the sock disaster. I have found that colored socks are easist to mate, and that mating them when you take them off ensures 2 socks in the same washload that match. Flip-flops are truly a gift from God.
